The krogan are impressed when Miranda helps take down the thresher maw too!

I was a little bit busier IRL than expected toward the end of the month, so this took longer than I wanted it to. That said, I still managed to make it out in July, if only just.

I'm still refining my work ass on jiggles. My Claire animation was the sort of baseline, and I think I refined things by not needing nearly as many shapekeys to achieve the jiggles.

This is my first short loop with the NLA editor, and it really paid off towards the end as I tweaked the base loop loads and didn't have to copy out all of the edits.

Lastly, one other experimentation was with the extra camera angle. I think it looked nice and provided some extra variety.

Never enough Miranda

The camera work did stand out. I wasn't expecting that zoom in. I very much enjoyed the non static camera work. Most animators tend to have some camera wobble, be static or move left, right, up, or down, but the zoom, was it a dolly zoom? Very nice touch. Don't think I've come across it at all, or often enough to register, in animations.

Sort of. It was a second camera entirely, so there was no actual animation involved, but it was a closer in position with a higher FOV and stronger depth of field so it provided a similar effect.
