I’ve been looking forward to this week’s release for quite some time. I have big plans for the Shadowed Keep on the Borderlands, and they start today!

I wrote the original version of this adventure for Pathfinder 1st edition back in 2012. A lot has changed in a decade.

In 2022, Raging Swan Press released a 5e-compatible edition of Shadowed Keep on the Borderlands. We also included new maps, new art, added the town of Dulwich and included additional notes on the area surrounding the keep. Finally, we brought all these changes and upgrades to the Pathfinder 1 edition of the adventure.

Now, in 2023, we’ve done the same for an OSR edition of the adventure! All three editions of the adventure have had yet another editing pass as I continue my War Against Typos. I’ve also added a separate System Neutral Player’s Guide to Dulwich to facilitate play in the town. (I've also uploaded the Player's Guide below.)

And we’ve only just got going.

Next year, we’ll update the adventure twice more with more details about Dulwich, a revised and expanded Shunned Valley of the Three Tombs and more! That will almost double the page count! And we’ve got big plans for 2025 as well!

I can’t wait to see this adventure grow and evolve. I hope you enjoy the process.

If you want to learn more about my plans, check out this blog post from July, where I first laid out my scheme.

Where’s My Stuff?

By the time you read this, everyone at the $5 and up levels should have a message from me containing the special secret download codes for this week’s books. Drop them into your browser, and you should be good to go. If you have any problems, message me, and I’ll sort it out for you.

Special Print Code Note: The print codes for this book won’t work properly until Monday, when I update all the relevant files at OBS. If you use the print codes before, you might end up with the old edition of the adventure.

Thank You

As always, thank you for supporting Raging Swan Press. Your support is instrumental in keeping the lights at Global HQ, and I am tremendously grateful you are here reading this!

Finally, it should come as no surprise at all that Everything is Better with Tentacles (particularly things lurking in ruined keeps buried deep in the wilderlands).
