This is one of those rare weeks when we aren’t releasing any new products to the public. However—fear not—we have something for you!

This week, we are releasing our final Dulwich Patreon-exclusive mini-eventure into the world. Next month, the compilation will be available, but for now, enjoy Visiting the Lumber Guild in 5e, OSR and Pathfinder 1 editions.

You’ll find all the files for this month’s mini-eventure attached to this post. Download as many versions as you fancy.

Poll Closed

Thank you to everyone who voted in our recent poll; I’ve found the results fascinating, and they’ll form the basis of my ongoing plottings for 2024’s release schedule. Some highlights:

  • Most Popular Line: Adventures!
  • Second Most Popular Line: Village Backdrops!
  • Third Most Popular Line: Wilderness Dressing
  • Least Popular Line: Urban Locales

I found these results surprising, so I’m glad I set up the poll! For example, we don’t release that many adventures, but they are your favourite line. Clearly, we need to release more adventures, and I have an idea for that (but with a twist!) Similarly, Village Backdrops are your second most popular line, but we haven’t released any new Village Backdrops for at least a couple of years. Do we need to revisit the line in a new and exciting way?

You’ve given me things to ponder. Thank you.

And, of course, if you have any further comments about our GM’s Resources, I’m all ears; just leave a comment below.

Thank You

As always, thank you for supporting Raging Swan Press. Your support is instrumental in keeping the lights at Global HQ, and I am tremendously grateful you are here reading this!

Finally, it should come as no surprise at all that Everything is Better with Tentacles (particularly—well—everything!)

The Urban Locales line is a fabulous resource!

It would be interesting to have [A] a large village or town backdrop with the regular hooks. And then [B] make a few (like maybe up to 5 or so) separate products over the 2024 year that link to that village in small geographical ways. Like a little adventure thread (visiting a few shops/stores/homes/people that weren't originally featured in the core village backdrop....like an expansion that still can draw on the original village for GMs who want to expand their ongoing use of the village. ie A low-level adventure thread followed later by a different offer in a different month for a mid-level adventure story (which won't change or alter the previous adventure (not even really linked to it), however, what makes it fun is that it may pass through the same tavern, park, museum, alleyway, guild hall or unique feature as the previous adventure may have, which may be still familiar to the players; or offer a new monster lair that has newly become entangled with the village in some way (a previous hunters cabin, when PC's last visited, becomes ; or a reason to go outside the village into the near Wilderness Dressing that encroaches upon the local village (ie see what terrain types are directly around the village and make one book that gives charts/lists to handle the actual terrain around the village (mountain pass, AND mountain crags AND farming land south of the village AND the logger's forests AND the river bottoms) kind of companion tool to the village (or a System Neutral village similar to it). You get the drift!

This is an excellent idea. I was planning to pursue something similar with Dunstone this year, but you have taken the idea further than I. Thank you for the additional ideas!
