If owlbears—the product of a deranged wizard’s wild experimentations—are a thing, why aren’t gelatinous hippogriffs?

Given gelatinous hippogriffs don’t yet exist, we’ve settled this week for Monstrous Lairs focusing on hippogriffs and gelatinous cubes.

I think a gelatinous cube Monstrous Lair has been long overdue. I love gelatinous cubes—in my last D&D campaign, a half-orc fighter had a rather close encounter with such a scavenger. The half-orc survived, but sadly, the gelatinous cube did not. On the plus side, the oblivious half-orc fighter did wander straight into the cube—it was a fun encounter (for everyone except the half-orc and the gelatinous cube).

In any event, I hope you enjoy this week’s releases. Remember, everyone here gets the Monstrous Lairs free as a thank you for supporting us here on Patreon. Thank you. your support and trust means the world to me and I’m honoured you include us in your campaigns.

Enhanced  Dread Thingonomicon Index

Just yesterday, we released the enhanced The Dread Thingonomicon index into the world. This index (I hope) makes the mighty Dread Thingonomicon much easier to use. I’ve added the relevant downloads here for your convenience.

Can we make the index better? Let me know in the comments.

Where’s My Stuff?

By the time you read this, everyone should have a message from me containing the special secret download codes for this week’s books. Drop them into your browser, and you should be good to go. If you have any problems, message me, and I’ll sort it out for you.

Thank You

As always, thank you for supporting Raging Swan Press. Your support is instrumental in keeping the lights at Global HQ, and I am tremendously grateful you are here reading this!

Finally, it should come as no surprise at all that Everything is Better with Tentacles (particularly—obviously and inevitably—sentient gelatinous cubes…)

Happy Sunday. Thank you for enhancing the Dread Thigonomicon Index. Always a useful thing to have. I received the drivethru link for updated files. However, the files don't seem to be updating. And truth be told, I've had a number of Ragin Swan files with a "download error: hash does not match" in my OneBookShelf Mac Library app. I suppose that this is a DriveThru issue, but I'm wondering what the cause of the error is. I think I have a downloaded copy of all the RS releases, but thought I would look into it now. If you can point me in the right direction, that would be great. Sorry for the bother.

Could you ping me a screenshot of that error? I'm not sure what "hash does not match" means. My email is creighton [at] ragingswan.com
