Hello everyone!

Long standing members of our Patreon campaign know I occasionally post polls to get a better understanding of the games you play. This week, I thought I would check in on your preferred system/edition of books we release.

As you all know, we support the following systems/release the following editions of many of our products:

  • 5e
  • OSR
  • Pathfinder 1
  • Pathfinder 2
  • System Neutral

I’m a long-standing Pathfinder 1 GM and  since Raging Swan Press’s inception I write/contract everything for Pathfinder 1st edition and then the text is converted to our other supported systems. I’m currently dipping my toes into running a 5e game and that made me wonder what system you are running (or will run when the lockdown in your area is lifted).

Your answers will help me gauge interest in which products I should convert to systems other than Pathfinder 1. For example, should I work on a 5e, OSR or Pathfinder 2 conversion of The Picaroon Peninsula or Shadowed Keep on the Borderlands before moving onto other editions/games?

So, if you have a minute please answer the below poll. Feel free to also leave a comment if you like. I’ll read every one. Here’s my question:

Which one of the games or editions below would you most like to see Raging Swan Press create adventures and supplements for?

The poll closes next Monday.

Thank you—as always—for your support!

Primarily OSR, although I'm not adverse to some 5E and tend mainly to go for the System Neutral product lines :)

Definitely System Neutral- opens up so many possibilities

I put OSR, but more so because I find it extremely easy to convert it to just about any other system. (true with system neutral, but I grew up on the old stuff). PF and D&D5 don't really convert to anything else easily. Also when I read a 5th magic item or spell effect, it doesn't hold the magic and infinite possibilities that things of old did, at least to me. PF and 5th are more functional and mechanical in nature. That said, I've been playing pretty much solely in a PF 1 game for the past decade and we did the PF2 playtest and are currently debating if we want to go with that instead.

I'm a PF1 guy. I hope you keep writing in your native tongue so that the locals like myself have something we can understand. Oh; system neutral works as a happy medium for everyone.

We fired up our old family Pathfinder 1e game for lockdown after several months of it laying dormant. Gods I love that system, but 5e is so much faster to level up a character in....

I convert the system neutral ones to GURPS.

My system of choice is Castles and Crusades, which is a system that sits between being considered a "true " OSR system and a system-neutral one.I flipped a coin and put OSR though.

I cut my role playing teeth on D&D before there was a bloody "A" in front of it - late '70s. Then I was out of the game, so to speak for years. Came back to discover Pathfinder 1. Supported the advance of Edition 2 and some friends and I tried playtesting it... I just couldn't wrap my head around the 'resonance' thing. So I am big time down on P1.

PF1 for me for the most part although I do also use my RS content in 13th Age.

Creighton, You should take a look at Old School Escentuals, it's based off of D&D Tom Moldvay edition. OSE has a large following and is growing. See if it's worth adding to the brand

I play Savage Worlds, so system neutral or OSR are my preferred formats. No matter the format, I love the Raging Swan content. Thank you, Creighton!
