People seemed to like the seal, and It had been a while since I drew an apocalyptically large critter, so...

Oh I was REALLY hoping to see him/her again! You just made my day, thank you!

Meanybeany

Thanks! Maybe I'll draw her again, depending on how well-received this picture is. With some of these more niche things, people tend to lose interest after a couple pics. (Part of that may be the sense of loss of interactivity in the pictures as things become megamacro.)

Was the placement of the fins intentional? Seems like they’re placed too high up.

Drash2005

I enjoy it. Would be nice to see more with her. =3

Cracker

You call that apocalyptical? Unless half the continent isn’t seal blubber I ain’t getting up

Alex de Vries

Winter is comming, its trying to outrun the hangry seal thats filling the horizon.

Borusa Ryalam

A delightfully ample seal~

Meanybeany

Yes, the flippers are being pushed up by her belly, which has expanded under her and is expanding outwards as well as pushing her up.

Meanybeany

Well, apocalyptic in the sense that it's obvious how this is going to end. :p

Wyomzrow

My seal of approval, must seal moar! I love it! 😍

Well, at least the artic base from the last pic can say they're warm now....underneath several thousand tons of seal blubber - same might go for penguin colonies too. Seems like she's moved onto drinking some ocean (though Antartica is frozen water already...), wonder what's next to fuel her growth. I really like the vista on display, with her body basically separating land & sky, the lovely night star-line sky, and the beautiful rendition of the artic with the mountains to imply both her vast size, the vast empty plains, and those cool ice spikes to the coastal corner is a nice touch. I would be curious to see another seal in the set, if permissible.

Meanybeany

Thank you! Yeah, the background took a while, even though it looks kinda plain (hur hur) at first glance. Maybe I'll do another seal... I take it you want to see a sequel though, not a prequel?

Thomas Slater

Look like the planet is going, we're getting an upgrade.

Silberlynx

Ahh, yes, the majestic arctic blubber slug returns. Quite a sight, isn't she? Great work on the background and depicting her squishyness alike.

Meanybeany

Thank you! I think she would object to being called that. Fortunately she probably can't hear you over the sound of how fat she is. :p
