SUM UP OF THE MONTH:

There was a lot of backstage work this month, deciding stuff about the Pokémon Shimeji, fixing and improving codings, doing repaints, new clients orders, quotes, etc.

Let’s get into detail!

· POLL ABOUT PATREON POSTS RYTHM:

After a poll in Discord people decided that preferred a main shorter than usual post for campaigns and then during the month several mini posts. This month will still be either as always or fifty-fifty but will try to do what you decided. I already warned of the consequences of this but since is what you want, let’s try.

A quick reminder of the consequences is: more time spent into doing the posts so less time for drawing when I already have a full-time job, so will do what I can there; and of course if there are more posts means I will do more pings in Discord and in your mail if you are a follower or a Patron. But as said, will do my best to make it work.

· WEBSITE UPDATES:

I did some internal fixings to the website. We noticed there were some gaps in the database of the Shimeji List so I submitted some unreleased Shimeji to fill those gaps. Some are downloadable, some not, but now we can officially say that we reached the stunning amount of 300 Shimeji!

Here the Stand images of the Shimeji I added to the site: Manic the Wolf, Nimon, Goumon, Miyaji, Moonsun, Codi the Robot & Kuroneko.

· NEW SHIMEJI STAND FRAMES:

Some new Shimeji were started too, here their Stand images: Blitz Creed Wolf, Bruges the Olde English Bulldog, Dragonet Species, BlackGabumon, Psychemon and Espeon.

· EGGS’ NEW METHOD:

Until now, Shimeji with eggs have had an action destined to be the “hatch action”. I realized that this was starting to get problematic, especially if the Shimeji had more than one form or if I had to split forms. So I decided that Eggs should be a character by themselves.

For now, the Gabumon Line Shimeji and the Dragonet Species Shimeji have this specific coding for the eggs. But the idea is to put this to ALL the Pokémon and to keep it from now on.

To make eggs a character means they are grabbable and hatchable via Transformation. Also, we have made them touchable, we can actually rub the eggs to make them hatch!

This will take a while but I am 100% sure this will be a worth effort.

STATUS OF THE CURRENT SHIMEJI:

· Blitz Creed Wolf [by Luxro]:
Commissioned by Steam Hooves; this Shimeji will be downloadable by Patrons. You can find it HERE but the download link is not available yet.

· Bruges the Olde English Bulldog [by Cachomon]:
Commissioned by Stevie-rae; this Shimeji will be downloadable by everyone. This is a very special Shimeji, since is based on a real doggy, and all doggies deserve the best tribute. I am so happy the person chose me for this special commission and I hope I can make it as perfect as possible. You can find the Beta Link HERE but the download link is not available yet.

· Dragonet Species [by Luxro]:
Commissioned by Devil Kitten; this Shimeji will be downloadable by everyone. You can find the Beta Link HERE but it’s in a very early stage. This Shimeji has the new Egg logic and is pretty fun to play with :D basically the Shimeji starts with an egg that we can grab and hatch by rubbing it, the most fun in this one is that we will get a random dragon design from each egg!

· BlackGabumon & Psychemon [by Cachomon & Tetsumon]:
Shimeji Campaign Project; these Shimeji will be downloadable by everyone once the GOAL is reached. You can find them HERE but the download links are not available yet, since it’s being done in the Gabumon Line Shimeji. If you are a Patron you can test that one for now.

· Espeon [by Cachomon]:
Shimeji Campaign Project, part of the Eevee Shimeji and the Pokédex Shimeji Project; this Shimeji will be downloadable by everyone once the GOAL is reached and will be also added to the Eevee Shimeji. You can find it HERE but the download link is not available yet.

For more information about the Pokédex Shimeji Project you can check the Campaigns and how to Contribute to them. If you have or know someone owning an Victini, Growlithe, Umbreon, Cyndaquil, etc FanCharacter, remember that to commission it will give an immediate slot and a big % of the cost will go to the specific Pokémon Campaign! Another Species that is already made will also give a quick slot :3 like Eevee, Buizel, Shinx, etc.
