i promised this in the stream - here's a bunch of my games, and here's what they are:

BP: prototype of a platform-shmup concept. ctrl, shift, space, and arrow keys do stuff. pretty fun engine. might eventually be something some day.

COOL UNIVERSE: cancelled project w/ squeedge. they handled the art on this. this demo ver has a single boss fight with both playable characters. there is also a slightly earlier build in here which includes some boss facial animations that i broke in the later build. oops.

DASH DA DASH DX: probably my most popular game, as it showed up on retsupurae, even, and got a lot of good buzz on tigsource! this includes an "EX" version which was later integrated into the full game as EX mode. this version contains some different boss graphics, patterns, and graphical effects.

DASH DA DASH DX 2: cancelled project w/ squeedge, but mostly functional. they handled the art on this one. has a few different play modes and is a pretty far cry from the first game, but still super cool.

HARPY!SIREN!: unfinished big project of mine. was hoping to expand it and finish it eventually as well as have all the lifted assets replaced, but it is what it is, and i think it's pretty cool. contains a dev version with the canned bonus ending and an unfinished stage. neat stuff.

HIGH JAM SPEED DEMON: canned project. only has one stage and an unbeatable boss. some cool stuff though, and this is where the platformer-shmup concept i'm currently toying with originally spawned. also contains a prototype with an enemy juggling system i didn't like.

NASTY FUTURE SPACEDEATH: one night dev project. was feeling anxious at a get-together so i holed up and made this instead. it's just a cute little archaic shmup. nothing fancy.

SHOOTERHOUSE: kind of a riot. a one-week halloween project. splatterhouse as a shmup. super goofy, lots of fun graphical effects, totally dumb, lots of cheap deahts as a result of not giving a shit and tossing together the shmup equivalent of splatterhouse 1's difficulty. contains an early version of the first stage.

SLEEP PARALYSIS: a personal project i really want to pick up again some day... it's not much right now.

these are so full of style and although i'm sure none of these were coded from scratch, i've always been very jealous of your knack for fast and fun game development. are these using gamemaker or multimedia fusion or something? i really want to throw shit at the wall and have fun with this kind of stuff...

matt

harpy siren and ddddx are my two favorites

No Shark Attack and that game you've made as a parody for FNAF?

Anonymous

Also, can you tell what was the "2011 project beta" originally intended for?

lapfox

shark attack can be found other places already and that parody is not even a game or worth including

lapfox

if you mean "2011 project side a" it was for a project in 2011 that never even got started. that's all.

i love how there's a selection of cool things and everybody's demanding freddy instead. once we are free of our limitations we seek to recreate them.

I hate comparing games with other games, but Sleep paralysis gives me a Yume Nikki vibe. Plenty of potential for this game. Shall be fun to see what you decide to do with it. I do have to agree that having the text box appear when looking at an object of interest is pretty nice. Also the last time I saw someone playing Shooter House was back at Seattle (think the year was 2015); and yes, it was someone you know. ^.^ I might have to play with it for a while on hardmode, just to see how far I can get... (yes I know, I'm late to the party...)
