Well, this was interesting! At least I finally learned (hopefully I'll remember it) how to properly spray white without the initial sputter that's oh-so-common with this color. As usual, I have no idea about thinning ratios, just experimenting and adding more thinner until it sprays smoothly! 🤣

My impression is that the interior most likely wasn't painted in pure white, rather the more usual ivory color. But because everything is going to be covered in shadow, I went with a less saturated approach - I started with a mixture of German Grey and white and finished with pure white.

I also did some brush painting on the olive green frame under the driver's floor. More detail painting is coming up next, and then I'll hit the whole interior with Shaders.

There's a lingering sadness in the back of my mind knowing how little of this will be visible in the end, and it's making me think if it wouldn't be a good opportunity to demonstrate a more "basic" approach to painting and weathering an interior? Don't worry, it's still gonna be a lot of fun stuff, but in all honesty, going full in on the weathering like we'd normally do on the outside of the tank would be the definition of wasting time, am I right? 😁

We'll see what the interior has to say tomorrow once everything is picked out in appropriate colors and outlined with Ammo Shaders, especially all those rivets!

Would be a huge shame to hide this all up - is it a consideration to make the roof removable?
