My friends, I've got most of the interior done, just the roof details remain. So far I followed the instructions to the dot because there was no legit reason to do it "my way", lol.

It's getting time to move outside of the tank and focus on the exterior. So far I've modified the front plate where only one hatch is supposed to be. Meng kit reproduces the tank called "Schnuck" with two vision slots at the front, while I'm building the Nr. 540 "Heiland". This tank had also a slightly different rivet arrangement on the front and rear plate, so I've taken care of that as well.

Also, the tank is pretty hefty! I've already built this kit in the past, completely out of the box without painting, but my memory isn't what it used to be, haha... and then exchanged it for an unbuilt kit that I'm building right now :)

Most importantly, I'm not sure how I'm gonna approach the painting. On one hand, it feels intuitive to keep every armor plate detachable to avoid orange peel forming in tight corners, but on the other... I'd like to have at least two of them already glued to the model so they can act as a guide for proper alignment of the remaining plates, especially the roof. It's a tough choice, really!
