My friends, this was once again a new experience, but the techniques were quite similar to the house painting. Photos are in reverse order with some close-ups at the end, so you can get an idea of how it progressed :)

Now I'm thinking... how should I present the JP: did it reverse in place from the cobblestone road, or did it arrive from the other, grassy side?

In case 1, I can still add some damage to the sidewalk and paint chipping from the tracks (just like that chipped strip on the road, caused by tanks passing through). But that would make the area behind the JP rather boring as there would be nothing except grass and some weeds.

In case 2, the area behind the tank will be more interesting because of the track marks, and the "main stage" is already gonna be pretty busy because the main story will take place there - the dude with the puppy and a dog jumping around him.

So this will become its own detailed video because as always, I probably paid way too much attention to it πŸ˜† And it'll also set up a nice schedule and the final diorama episode will come right before Christmas.

But I don't feel like editing right now, so while my creative juices are flowing like the Amazon river, I'll spend more time on the groundwork tomorrow. At least the road will have a nice backdrop instead of that dreadful white styrofoam 😁And, of course, I can make some additional adjustments so it'll blend nicely into the groundwork.

Lastly, this channel will never be the same again. Last night I finally ordered some super expensive side cutters from Meng! But what's more important... I bought some resin cats, so damn it, this diorama will be just PURRFECT 🀣

Good choice on the side cutters. Used to freak me out seeing you cut parts off with a pair of scissors! But, each to their own I guess. That cobbled road looks fantastic. It would be good to see you add some damage on the curb stones where the big cat reversed in.

I wouldn't mind using scissors forever if I wasn't pressed by time, so anything that can make the workflow faster is more than welcome 😁
