My friends, the house is ready for painting. I resorted to 3D technology from the future because it was ultimately faster, easier and more precise. Not to mention - more detailed! Doors and windows are just dry-fitted for the time being because I need to be able to pull them out without snapping anything, so their geometry is kinda all over the place for now.

In other news, I added the roof flashing, some extra peeling plaster on a wall, and filled the back of the house with acrylic wood putty. Everything is now ready for painting and the hype is bigger than ever! 😁

Also, there will be more details on the house, but it would be detrimental to glue them in place at this stage. It's been a real pleasure to work with styrofoam again and get more familiar with the material!

To answer a FAQ about the material, sadly I can't provide the name or type of the foam as I found it in my shed as a leftover from house insulation. Let's make it a scavenger hunt and find it together 😁 All I know so far - it's a grey XPS foam. Not much... 😁

what's with the door on the 3rd floor!?

I think it was quick access to the attic. When they had to put lots of grain or wheat there, it would be easier to lift it through a dedicated door than carrying it across the whole house.
