My friends, it's rust washes over chipping as usual, and as always it's about keeping them subtle so they're not evident from a normal viewing distance.

With three colored camouflage it gets trickier because they're less evident on green and brown and as such need additional blending on the yellow areas. Going over them two times with enamel thinner usually works just fine. 

Streaking Rust Effects were used on the tank while Oxide Patina oil paint played the main role on oxide primer areas. I also added some basic effects on the separate track links and the ones glued to the model are going to follow. And it's also time to tackle those raw unpainted steel areas where the tool mounts have been ripped off!

My My, what a difference. These chips really stand out, especially on the stowage tube on the rear. The damaged fender and stowage box look fantastic man, really puts this in the Normandy country side. Excited to see this one finished.
