🎉 new iPad acquired! (Patreon)

so I was able to figure everything out and i have a brand new iPad now!  The best I could get was a 6 month finance which is a bit more expensive than I would’ve liked, but it’s the best I can do and it arrived last night! I have a new case and screen protector arriving in like an hour also. I’m excited for that since I ordered one of those paper like feel screen protectors! The fiancé fox recommended it to me so I’m looking forward to using that. This new one works like a complete dream. It’s incredible how much smoother everything is, and the amount my layer limit has been upped on Procreate makes me wanna cry with happiness, I feel like I’ll finally be able to fully delve into doing bigger more detailed pieces and ref sheets without feeling restricted! For reference, I was only allowed 26 layers on that large commission I did a few posts back for Sabermawz, but on this new iPad, for the exact same piece, I’m allowed just over 100 layers! I absolutely adore this new one. I’ve been having trouble transferring old files from my previous Procreate to this new one, but I managed to save some important personal sketches I wanted to keep, but I might have to let every other file go. Which, really, I think I’m okay with as every art piece is saved here, on Trello, and my personal work of my charas is all on my toyhouse too, so I don’t really have a large need for the files anymore. 

I also figure I should mention that YES now i have a functioning iPad, my commissions are back open for sparkle dog patreons! 💛

Thats enough rambling about my new iPad though, lemme talk a little bit abt these doodles I’ve done since I got my iPad!

1. a piece I did for my sibling Foolrot! They made a new fursona a few days back and Ive been itching to draw them, so I knew the second my new iPad got here they they would be the first thing I drew! Their design was such a dream to draw and bet I’ll be drawing them a lot more in the future! ( character uses they/them pronouns )

2. I dunno if some of you will recognise these two, but their names are Marble and Poppy respectively! I designed them a few years ago to be hypothetical offspring of Angel and Twilight (Marble), and Blake and Pokki (Poppy). They’re not characters I actively use and they’re not canon really since they were designed for fun, but I wanted to doodle them all grown up to have some fun! I also made their TH pages private a while ago since they’re personal characters, but they’re both forever homed with me.

3&4. another revamp of a possible cow sona! I think I really like this design, and I did that second little doodle of her just to see how I feel. I like her a lot I think!
