I think the last 3 points are the most compelling arguments to open up to a partner. We should actually talk to a partnwe about them with transparence as to why we want to open up before doing so, no?

I like that you mentioned it as a sort of meditation. It really is a great stress relief, not to mention that you really don't even need a partner to get into little space, you can often do it all by yourself. I use it a lot to relax and kind of de-stress.
