Hi Ben and friends! I’m always dramatically slower (around 1,5 times to 2 times) than whatever How Long To Beat tells me it should take to finish a game. How do you usually compare?

Would you rather be hit by a pt cruiser or drive a pt cruiser

Hey MinnMax!! First time long time. Years ago, I was caught up in the Breathe of the Wild hype train and bought a Nintendo Switch. Long story short, I disliked BOTW and I feel like it tainted my opinion of my Switch. When I want to play a game at the end of the day, I hop on my PlayStation and never consider booting up my Switch. I want to change that and use my Switch more so I don't feel like I wasted my money. My question is, how do I fall in love with the Switch all these years later?

hey minnmax! gave multiversus a try and it’s actually pretty cool! it got me thinking, with game design being iterative, why do people have such an aversion to “clones” of beloved series? multiversus mixes up the formula just enough to be fresh and honestly feels like a step forward in platform brawlers. out with the old, in with the new!

Hey MinnMax! Last year we had Kena, this year it's Stray. Two first projects of a studio that look awesome and get great reviews. That made me think: Which is the best first game of a studio ever?

Hi Minn Maxxers, I'm a high school teacher and I have been approved to teach a 15-week elective on "The History of Video Games". It will be an hour each class, it will be once a week, and the course will run twice a year. My question is, what should I teach?!? My current thoughts are discussing the generations, influential people, and important moments. I'm thinking about including "Console Wars" to read as well. What do you think? What would you teach and how should I go about it? I've got all summer to develop my curriculum, and if you can help me out, I promise to add all of your names at the beginning of each lesson as experts. Rick from Brooklyn

Hey cohorts, any favorite graphic novels or newspaper comics? If you like Calvin and Hobbes, a lesser known but but similar one is Cul-de-Sac. Somewhat neurotic but funny.

Hey MinnesotaMaxers, On the heels of Stray being perhaps the first true “cat simulator”, are there any “animal simulators” you would personally like to see that haven’t been made yet?

Greetings MinnMax crew, This question is primarily for Leo, though anyone else with experience is welcome to add their thoughts. How do you get past the hurdle of motivating yourself to engage with VR? I've had mine for almost half a year now and can't seem to get into using it because of the hassle of setting everything up properly.

Hey MinnMaxers, In a lot of games, movies and books there is a date set in the future such as 2099 or 2047 do you think that we will ever reach a time of the future with flying cars and holographic technology? What do you think might actually be in that future and how would gaming change?

Howdy MinnMaxians, dig deep into the shadows of your memory and recount the last (or most memorable) boss fight you encountered where: you spent time after time bashing your head (and controller?) against a wall and finally deciding to come back to it later and next session you beat it in 5 tries or fewer. Bonus points if it was first try. Mine was less fight, but the Sandworm escape from Ori II, I remember having to turn my headset volume up loud and feel the music timings match with button inputs. When I hear that song come on, I still feel a mix of anxiety and victory.
