MinnMax's Ben Hanson interviews Jan Willem Nijman (Minit, Nuclear Throne, Ridiculous Fishing, Luftrausers) and Robbie Fraser (Genital Jousting, BroForce) about their experience working on a tabletop passion project on the side (along with Terri Vellmann) and how it grew into the release of Dustbiters, an Mad Max-inspired 2-player card game thanks to iam8bit. They talk about designing tabletop games versus designing indie video games and more. Dustbiters launched earlier this year as a Kickstarter along with a video from Double Fine's Tim Schafer, and it's available for everybody on Black Friday. Just to be clear, we promoted this game on The MinnMax Show podcast via the iam8bit connection but this interview is separate from that. I really love the game and wanted to get it in front of more folks.
