Hey MinnMax squad, I was recently going on an internet deep dive and I was suprised to see a lot of my favorite content creators say the combat for Bloodborne is the worst part of the game. This shocked me as I always viewed the combat in fromsoft games to be one of the core pillars of their quality. And so I pose the question to you guys, what is "good combat". I understand this is a bit of a broad question but I would love to know how a combat system is defined as intuitive and fun to y'all. Thanks for making every Thursday a good one.

Hey Minnmax crew. What are some things in games that used to scare you even though they were never intended that way. My example would be the abandoned Jinjo village at the start of Banjo Tooie. The music and the atmosphere of that place used to freak me out when I was younger. My brother had a lot of fun with the game but I haven't picked up the game since. Any weird and similar experiences?

Hey people, Bloodborne is a fantastic game. I get it, I love bloodborne. My question is does anyone think the outcry for a 60fps version of the game is a little over the top? Realistically who at this point is going to go back and play the game for more than a short while if the game were to get the update?

What was everyone's favorite non video game piece of media that they discovered during the pandemic? Books, TV, movie, art, anything that helped them get through the last year.

This weekend some friends and I were in Lviv at a singing competition. Afterward, we spent the day walking around the city. Another contestant who none of us knew just started walking with us and he was absolutely insufferable in several ways; talking super loud on a morning bus ridewhen several people are trying to sleep, changing the subject when we are all talking about a certain thing, etc. We ultimately ended up leaving him behind after he insisted on getting ice cream. While he was in the shop we quickly walked away and hid in an alleyway. Are we bad people? I feel bad about it but then I remember him asking me some really weird questions like how much money I made and things about my sex life? I don't think he'll ever see this because I am the only one in this story who speaks any English.

I have a PS5. The games I’ve put the most hours into are UFC 4, Mortal Kombat 11 and Avengers. Is that weird? Has anyone tried Avengers on next gen? I think it looks, runs and feels so much better than the last gen version.
