My Miles Morales moxie has been mindlessly maligned! Ben referenced a comment of mine in this Deepest Dive, saying that I said I thought the game was super difficult. To this I must say nay! What I was trying to express in my comment was that personally, as someone who didn't play the first game, I was having a hard time at the start, but I got much better at it after a while. I was curious if anyone thought the beginning of the game, and its pop-up tips and hints, were clearly targeted at refreshing the skills of people who played the first game, rather than trying to teach new players how to play from scratch. I didn't think it was a super hard game or anything! I just felt like I was given a ton of moves right at the start and I was bad at it for a little while.

The first game had a similar thing, they start you out of the gate with a takedown of Fisk and I died of ton in that initial mission with everything going on and learning the controls. It wasn't as drastic here, but I can recognize the base issue.

About his voice: I think Miles’ voice must have been sort of molded from Chance The Rapper’s voice. Every time he was swinging around and talking I thought “dang that sounds so much like Chance.”

Man, I just couldn't get over the change to Peter's face/voice actor. Im hoping that changes in Spider-Man 2

I agreed with the guy who said Miles and Peter look the same age now. I totally agree. Pete looks like a kid. They gotta un baby his face.

I also thought it would tutorialize more at the beginning. I did not remember all of the controls from the first game and it was kinda rough at the start. Had to look up the button mapping a couple times. But I soon got the hang of it again. Both games are a good challenge though. I wouldn't say either game is easy.
