Hey Benny H and da Boyz. This is partly a message to everyone playing Cold War’s campaign. Go into the settings and turn off the hit markers and crosshairs for your weapon. It makes the experience so much more immersive. I find that there is often way too much information on screen and I love games that allow me to customize my hud. What games have you tweaked the settings on before and have made it a better experience?

What’s going on MinnMax crew. I want to give this game thing a shot. I call it Metacritic Pros VS Joes. Can you tell me if the user score is within 3 of the critics score. Love the podcast. (Critics score first)

Hey Ben and the MinnMax crew. Something about the Xbox brand always seems slightly out of touch; their unremarkable characters/franchises, their overly safe next-gen console, their over reliance on backwards compatibility. I can't help but feel that Xbox makes as many pro consumer decisions as possible (Game Pass etc), but somehow always feels like they're trying to fit in with the "cool kids". Is the Xbox brand inherently unexciting?

Are any of you fans of the Spider-Man comics? If so, what is your favorite Spidy storyline? Mine is the Acts of Vengeance/Cosmic Spider-Man series from ‘89.

Hey Ben & the crew, Which do you prefer: story-based DLC for a year after launch or no DLC and you know the dev team is starting on the next game right away?

Probably too late to ask a question, but thought I might as well. What's the most haunted video game?

Ben, is the Uptown Funk level in Sackboy: A Big Adventure the best/most fun level of the year? Why is the answer a resounding "yes"? Also, for the crew, what are your favorite examples of "current" hit songs making their way into video games (specifically non-music/rhythm games)? Thanks!

Hi Ben and the CLC's While eagerly awaiting my PS5 from Costco (thank God for memberships requirements to help with bots) I've been booting up and playing the PS4 a lot recently after being primarily a PC gamer for over a year. In particular, I booted up Uncharted 4 and was immediately shocked at how sluggish it felt. Like it was making me feel sick. This comes not only from the controls themselves but from it being at a locked 30FPS. With both Miles Morales and Demon Souls having a "Fidielity" and "Performance" (4K/60FPS) mode, I hope it becomes a new standard. Action games like Devil May Cry, Platinum Games, shooters, etc. would benefit so much with a 60FPS lock that these consoles can maintain. I think the data will prove that people do want that smoothness that FPS gives us. What do you guys think? Should Fidelity and Performance become standard? Do you have a preference?

Hello Ben and the Minn Maxers, with the upcoming Destiny 2 raid (that I’m getting ready for maybe I’ll be first complete) I thought of a good question for you all. When have to had to game under a deadline (not for review or work) for example I’m having to get my power lvl up to do the raid. It’s a little question but that doesn’t mean it’s a good one. From (one of) the Destiny 2 Minn maxers Evan1sonic

Hey Ben and the CLC's I have been loving my PS5 so far. From the UI overhaul to the snappiness of the SSD. My favorite thing about it has to be the DualSense. I have been so impressed with the way certain games use it (COD with the triggers feeling different for each gun, AstroBot with the rumble for what he is walking on) What has been your favorite aspect of this new gen so far? Thanks! Nick S.

Hey Gang, Since striking out on this MinnMax endeavor, effectively walking away from the majors, as it were, do you still get the inside scoops that you were privy to when working at Game Informer? I kind of imagine it's like when someone leaves government office and eventually stops receiving daily briefings; relegated to getting their news more or less like the rest of us as it happens. Are you more so on the outside looking in or is there still a good deal of seeing how the sausages get made? Are you still entrusted with the biggest upcoming release news and gossip that the rest of us plebs are completely ignorant to until it leaks on twitter or makes the front page of G.I. or gets scooped by Jason Schreier? Congrats to Jeff on prolonging the cycle of human existence.
