Hey Minnmaxers! My daughter hated it when I killed a fox in Breath of The Wild, so since then I've left the little critters alone and always remind them of their good fortune. What's the strangest rule or limit you've set for yourself I. Gaming?

Howdy cohortskis, I know the discussion is usually "what game do you want a sequel to" but are there games that you don't want a sequel to - games that you feel perfectly happy not having any more installments of? Thanks 15 time Mario 35 Champion The Reverend Bob Buel

Ben, quick double tap here for you: First, what's your take on the (surprisingly steep) Patreon income drop and how would you explain it? And second, would you play Fatal Frame 2 for Extra Life?  Thanks!

Hello Ben and crew. With next gen launches merely weeks away, I’ve been feeling nostalgic lately. As an adult with my own money and expenses to manage, the excitement of getting a new system is somewhat negated with financial stress. With that being said, what is your best launch memory as a dumb care free kid? I remember the sadness of opening a picture of an Xbox 360 on Christmas morning and a note from my mom saying that she could not find one in time for Christmas. Even as a teenager I was sad and disappointed I would not have a shiny new box to play my games on. This disappointment turned to elation as my sister snuck upstairs and returned with the console! My mom then told me she spent every weekend calling all the stores in town until finally the manager at Sams club took pity on her and held his last console, breaking company rules. That is easily the best console launch memory I have and doubt I will ever be matched. What are your best console launch memories?

Hi Ben and Friends, How many kids do you think are gonna get Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time soon or for the holiday and cry tears of frustration at how difficult it is. Seriously, as a Crash Bandicoot master (having even 100% the debut entry on the PlayStation One) this level of difficulty is insane, especially for getting all the boxes in every level. For anybody who has kids or spends time with them, how do you work with them when they get too frustrated and wound up at a difficult game?

Hey all, My question is, nothing can beat nostalgia from childhood, but have you found moments that opened your eyes to the lore and breadth of a video game world, or found a moment or mechanic that simulated childlike bliss in recent times. I remember feeling as if I just snorted my first line of gamer cocaine when the world map first appeared alongside Final Fantasy VII's iconic theme. The fact that there was a giant world and huge adventure beyond Midgar blew me away. I think of moments in Metal Gear Solid, like Otacon warning you in that manic codec call that "you're not alone in that elevator Snake!" What are your thoughts? Are these moments few and far between today because they're locked in nostalgia? Are we just more critical as we get older? Will I ever snort again!?

Hey MinnMaxers, With the bubbling excitement for the new consoles and the stark differences between Microsoft and Sony’s approaches, I’ve wondered about something I don’t feel has been discussed. How do you feel Shawn Layden’s mysterious exit from Sony might have affected the rollout of the PS5? I think I heard earlier this year that Jim Ryan said there was a lot of internal back and forth about the design of the PS5 and it’s the controller. It seemed odd to me that he would share that information in the same year as the console’s release. This mixed with the lack of communication from Sony about their console has had me wondering what behind the scenes shenanigans Sony might be dealing with. What do you all think?

A little birdie named Andrew Reiner spilled the beans on a live episode of Replay last week that Game Informer and MinnMax are partnering together for Extra Life! It was a delightful surprise while watching Alex play Bioshock Infinite, even the GI team was surprised that Reiner decided to divulge the top secret information. The word is out now, so can you give us more details!?

Hiya Ben & Friends, Watching the MinnMax Show has given me a lot of laughs during a rather humorless time (thank you, by the way!), so I thought I'd ask-- who has the best / most infectious laugh at MinnMax? Coming from the GI Show, I always thought Kyle had a wildly infectious laugh that would send me into fits even if the source of it wasn't all that funny to me, and Ben's more unbridled cackle is also highly enjoyable, though more rare in comparison. The less said about Joe Juba's guffaw, the better. (It's great though.) Lately however, I've found Ana's chortle-adjacent laugh to regularly inspire a similar reaction out of me, as it has a kind of unrestrained, almost childlike joy to it that is hard to deny, no matter how stoic I might feel in the moment. What are some of your laughs?

Why is the ps5 half the size of the man in the video? Dear God, it's going to need it's own stand! Keep up the good work!
