Spoiler Comment: At around 1:38:00 in the video, you can see the sex scene, including the nudity. Isn't that not allowed on YouTube? Not sure if a video game counts, but maybe it's best to avoid that altogether. Not that it bothers me personally... I'm just making a suggestion. Anyway, love these Deepest Dive videos!

I can't think of an example of infidelity related to a player character off the top of my head, but I do remember being blown away when I played Brutal Legend simply because it had a love triangle in it. It's such a basic trope in storytelling, but at that point it was basically unheard of in games. One observation I did have about the sex scene is that previously we had seen Abby reluctant to be physical with Owen, even back when they were dating. It was to a point that I started to wonder if Abby was asexual, and that the lack of physical intimacy was actually the reason they broke up. Read in that light, I feel like this might actually be the first time she and Owen have had sex.

Suriels comments at the beginning of this episode are just bs. I can't tell if he is doing the Jeff Gerstmann thing of being unfaithfully hyper critical of the game in a lame attempt to seem like a refined critic, or if he is just spoiled out of his mind. It would be one thing if he simply disliked the entire story, or the entire game play loop, but claiming that the story is at a lull and that the encounters are boring is just nonsense. Isnt Suriel a fighting game fan? Do games get any more repetitive and light on plot than fighting games?
