https://metalinjection.net/av/new-music/panopticon-streams-folky-new-song-the-pit Hello music loving cohorts. How much do you let the behind the scenes or backstory of a song or album effect how you feel about any particular song or album positively or negatively if you know it? As with my community pick Panopticon - The Pit even though I already liked Panopticon before and just the song itself is a good one knowing the story behind how it was made escalates ot too a whole new tier of emotional imo.

What's a song that brings back special memories for you guys? For me is Sex and Candy by Marcy's Playground. When I hear it, it takes me back to a really fun summer in my youth where it seemed like every time I got in the car that song was playing.

Hey there Trackstars, would you consider artists such as Aphex Twin, Daft Punk, Nicolas Jaar, or other such electronic producers the most prominent thing that modern music has to what would previously be considered composers from phases of music way back in time? If so, would this apply to any type of modern music producer? Thanks for doing what you guys do.

As a former tuba player, I have a special affinity for brass bands. Here’s a great example: 3AM Bounce by the No BS! Brass Band

Music lovin’ cohorts, Do you feel that Jeff Buckley’s cover of Leonard Cohen’s song “Hallelujah” helped push that song to be as famous as it is or would it have been as regardless? Thanks, Queso

Jason, Matt, and Kirk, What is your desert island album? For me it’s Jeff Buckley’s Grace. That album has the perfect balance of both soft and rocking songs and an incredible amount of dynamic range that would keep me happy for a long long time. Thanks, Queso

Jeff Buckley called his own cover of "Hallelujah" "the hallelujah of the orgasm". What the hell does that mean?

I think I really like Big Thief's album "Two Hands," but that doesn't stop me from calling it "Big Queef's album, 'Poo Hands.'" Please respond.
