Jordan Shaffer's post largely mirrors my experience with the RE2 remake. I didn't like Mr. X at all, because he cheats. If I juke him and sprint away from him down a hall, it defeats the point of my even TRYING if he suddenly bursts out from a door AHEAD of me ten seconds later. Up until he is introduced, I was heels-over-head in love with the game. Afterward, I tolerated it.

What game has the best looking fire and what game has the best looking water? My picks are Mad Max for best fire and Witcher 3 for best water.

What's the longest time anyone has gone without playing video games? I usually never went long since games have been portable since I was kid, but I don't think I've gone longer than a week.

What was the best and worst setup you used while playing games while visiting a studio? Did they have you playing on like an 90 inch TV or maybe an old CRT over a pool of Ice like in Ready Player One? Thanks

Same. There was a point the third time he showed up for me in a room with tight, labyrinthine maze-like corridors that also had two or three zombies in it where my anxiety spiked and I said to myself, "nope, I don't think I will be able to continue playing this". Which sucks because up until then I was in love with RE2.

Hey guys! What would be your roster if you created your own Smash Bros-type game? I’ll start you with Stranger from Stranger’s Wrath: his various critters he shoots from his crossbow can have different effects on the field and his super would be his end game look and stomping all over the field. Also Parvati from Outer Worlds. She’s got the shrink ray, she’s got a big hammer and her super is calling in SAM to clean up the competition.

I gotta tell you, I completely missed the boat on Breath of the Wild. As I am not a big or even moderate Nintendo fan, I didn't bother to get around to playing Breath of the Wild until literally a few weeks ago when I got a Switch for my partner. And although it ain't perfect, it is, as everyone has already attested to, an Efing great game. But seeing as how it's been out for so long and people have moved on, I find myself with no one to really share my experience with or fawn over the game with, aside from vicariously through old reddit posts. Has this ever happened to you? You take forever to get around to a game the whole community is in love with only to find yourself with no one to really share your burgeoning love with by the time you've drank the Kool-Aid? This is usually the case for me with tv shows or movies. but I can now add BotW to that list.

Wow didn't play the remaster, but don't remember it looking that bad on PS3 haha. There's certainly a lot of competition for worst though. I've always been very disappointed with the water in Far Cry games.

This might be too late for this week but I've seen a ton of hype for the 'Not Pokemon' MMO TemTem that came out in Beta this week. Wondering if you guys have checked it out and what your early thoughts are!

Hey Minnmax! Been playing Escape from Tarkov off and on for the past couple years but wow has it blown up after getting heavy interest from streamers. Have any of you give the game a go?
