Back in 2013, my friend Jeff Cork and I started recording a podcast in our free time where we reviewed each and every episode of The Twilight Zone from Rod Serling. The podcast has been dormant for a while, but I'm happy to announce that it has found a new home at MinnMax! On this episode, I'm reunited with Jeff Cork as well as former Game Informer intern Harry Mackin as we talk about the recent Fathom Event screening of six episodes of the original Twilight Zone in theaters to celebrate Rod Serling and the series' 60th anniversary. In this discussion, we rank the episodes they selected which were Walking Distance, Time Enough at Last, Eye of the Beholder, The Invaders, To Serve Man, and The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street.

For the first time ever, The Twilight Highlight Zone is also available as a video podcast on MinnMax's official YouTube channel.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vt5JSKxrxDM

Future episodes of The Twilight Highlight Zone will not be in the MinnMax exclusive audio feed, so if you want to follow along please search for the podcast on your favorite podcast service. That feed also contains the full archive of old episodes.

This is such a good idea! Can’t wait until you guys review “The Howling Man” which is my favorite episode. Slightly on-topic, have either of you read the short story collection Perchance to Dream by Charles Beaumont? He wrote a lot of Twilight Zone episodes and has some great stuff.

Yup. Posted that in a fit of excitement and then immediately realized you guys have been reviewing TZ for years. Hah. Well, looks like I have a lot to catch up on.

I'm aware of what a thin-skinned lump I sound like right now, but you guys profess to being such fans of TZ, and then do little but mock it nonstop for the rest of the show. Who benefits from this "we're gonna take this beloved institution down a peg!" approach?

Does Harry Mackin sound like Tim Turi to anyone else or am I crazy?
