Commissioned: Dragon Immortal Part 3 by RexEquinox (Patreon)

< Part Two 

The third part of the Dragon Immortal comic, done by the ever-pleasant Rex Equinox. Again, I highly recommend working with Rex if you like TF comics, I had another really positive experience.

"The party slayed Xaeldrayr-Red, though the battle was much harder and Nyana was injured. While unconscious and completely vulnerable, the beast's spirit overtook her! She transformed into a dragon herself, though one much different from Red.

The last 2 heroes had the good sense to flee, knowing that killing Xaeldrayr-Nyana would probably have the same outcome. Unfortunately, the Dragon has some new powers, and once again the warriors are forced to fight for their lives!"

Since Elasha is a stealthy rogue, the resulting form is dark and sleek. I also felt that extra spikiness was warranted, given Elasha's penchant for firing arrows. What other new powers will this incarnation of Xaeldrayr have? Lighting breath? Camouflage skin? Also, will  Xaeldrayr keep the powers  (thundering strikes, healing, barrier projection)  it gained from Red and Nyana?

I really like the torso and legs splitting her clothes apart in page 6. Clawed feet bursting from shoes on Page 7 of course is also a favorite. I also really enjoy the neck/head transformation on page 9 and 10.

Well, only 1 hero left now. Will Azith find a way to escape? Will she defeat Xaeldrayr in some manner that does not result in dragonification? Or will she end up like her friends, the new home of the ancient terror?
