Brooke is here, alongside the Treecko family!

Brooke is based on the ORAS VS version of the Ace Trainer. Canonically, Emerald does exist, but having to genderswap and basically come up with an original design seemed like a waste. Historically, Ace Trainers can often be found with all or one of Starter Pokemon and it's corresponding evolutions. In Gen 1, an Ace Trainer can be found in Victory Road with a Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise; in Gen 2, Ace Trainer Megan can be found on Route 27 with a Bulbsaur, Ivysaur & Venusaur.

Ironically, this isn't the case in Gen 3 or its remakes, but following the pattern, it would be fitting to create Brooke, a Grass-type user like Megan, and give her the Treecko family, and she can follow along our adventure with May & Brenda.

That's the logic, at least.

Note: Her Sleepwear set still contains her whistle and backpack. This isn't actually a mistake, I've just never really pointed out before that when it comes between removing accessories vs leaving them on, I tend to choose the later option. They can always be turned off, but I like to leave it on just in case, for scene purposes. Maybe Brooke wants to train her Treecko late at night in their underwear and she needs her whistle for that?!

Brooke doesn't actually have much in terms of customization. Her hair is edited to match her sprite/artwork, although on secondary glance I think there were a better hair option to match with her. Too late now! I can always update later if I do happen to find a better option..

Anyways, she has a few bits of custom overlay clothing, but overall this is another simplistic Trainer release - her outfits are unique, though it shouldn't be hard to figure out the pattern now. Generally, for Trainers, they are as follows:

1. Default appearance.
2. Modified/Sluttier "Default" appearance.

3. Gym Uniform.
4. Swimsuit.
5. School uniform.
6. Alternate style/casual/random/whatever looks good outfit.
7. Sleepy-wear.

Aside from the 3 obvious, the ones highlighted in bold are the general thought process/pattern going forward.

Next up...!

Finally, our Gen 3 Grass familly is here!

...and they took a lot longer than expected.

Treecko's hat was a tricky design, mainly because I STILL HATE HATS, and didn't initially want to use it. But it was a prominent feature of Treecko, I mean, her head bump things are at least. So, it's 3 pieces, a hat, and two spheres. Turn them off with the first 3 accessory slots.

Her hair was fun to make, though.

Camera angle + pose may deceive you, but the hair is actually perfectly symmetrical.

Next up is Grovyle - and let's side track a bit while we do...

First off, Grovyle's outfit is entirely customized with overlays, at least to match the pattern on her body IRL (er, well, IRP - In Real Pokemon?). Second, Grovyle had to had some quality control passes done even AFTER her second iteration because I hadn't noticed a few mistakes. See here:

LOOK AT THOSE WRISTS (WHICH ARE ALSO USING CUSTOM MATERIAL).

That DISGUSTING clipping wasn't noticed until I began posing her, and while it's such a small thing, and isn't difficult to fix, it is unnecessarily difficult to fix.

1. Boot up the game (30-45 seconds)
2. Boot up Character Creator -> Female (2~ minutes)
3. Load Grovyle (10~ seconds)
4. Make adjustments to accessories (2-3~ minutes)
5. Copy to all slots (30-45 seconds)
BONUS STAGE!
6. Notice that her "ear bumps" suck, give her new bumps; instead of cat ears rotated backwards, give two "triangle bump" things, adjust position (4~ minutes)
7. Copy to all slots AGAIN (30-45 seconds)
8. Save (instant!)
9. Close down Creator, open up Studio, load HEAVY scene, replace old Grovyle with new Grovyle (3~ minutes)
10. Hope there's no more mistakes.

Overall it only took about 15 minutes max, but honestly the only thing I hate about it is copying all accessories to each slot individually - anyone know if it's possible to copy it to ALL slots with 1-click, instead of copying it to 1 outfit at a time? If it is possible, let me know. You'll help me save ungodly amounts of time overall.

ANYWAYS...

Finally, Sceptile. She's just one big, bad, bomb-ass bitch.

Here are the cards!

#252 Treecko - https://files.catbox.moe/8eczi4.png
#253 Grovyle - https://files.catbox.moe/lyyfak.png
#254 Sceptile - https://files.catbox.moe/yanci1.png

Trainer Brooke - https://files.catbox.moe/hwe057.png

Quick observation/note, but these cards have nearly tripled in size, a testament I think to how much more detail/added parts goes into them, before cards would generally be about 0.3mb a piece, with Megas at 1.0mb. Now the standard is much higher, with the above being:

Treecko - 2.8mb
Grovyle - 1.5mb
Sceptile - 1.2mb
Brooke - 1.2mb

Generally this comes down to a lot of overlays/custom material edits. I don't go over EVERY bit of overlay/edit that I do, because sometimes I just forget. For example, I forgot Treecko even had any edits, but she does - for her outfit AND indoor/outdoor boots. Minor edits, but they are there none-the-less.

Hopefully the increased size doesn't impede you in any way.

Enjoy!
