Taillow & Swellow are here!

Whew, these two took forever. The main difficulty was their hair, which is made up of several different parts, and was frustrating as all hell to try and nudge in the proper placement, in keeping with the sprite's design.

One of the biggest challenges is that the models (in general) have very large foreheads, which, using some techniques with KKABMX (Advanced Bonemod), I was able to squeeze it down while maintaining facial proportions, at least a bit.

Expect to see that more going forward.

Back to Taillow - as mentioned, her main feature is her unique hair, though it also happened to be rather easy matching her wings, since they use Ryouna's wings (from Senran Kagura), and were simply "double'd up" to create the blue/white pattern seen in the sprite.

Her cloak also is overlaid to get the red tips in place.

Looking back, I probably should have edited the skirt so that the front had white instead of  blue, but I'll have to update that later x____x

Next up is Swellow, who actually just has reversed Taillow hair in her sprite. I didn't want to just flip everything over (mainly because that's quite difficult), so I changed her hair up a bit to give her a more mature look. Her back hair is lengthier and the front has slightly different design (using different hair pieces).

Her main outfit was the more difficult part as I had to custom design it in Gimp.

The default texture is not actually that good - in fact it's a total mess. I had to clean it up then designed it to match the sprite more closely. It's not 100% perfect, but I don't think it necessarily needs to be.

Her swimsuit uses a custom overlay, as well.

Oh, and I think they all have unique outfits except for the 2nd slot, which is shared.

Hey, real quick!

Due to the large amount of time these ones took, Wingull/Pelipper are not finished quite yet - but that gives me more time to invest into them, so that's one good thing. That said, you should still expect Team Magma/Aqua Grunt on Friday.
