Update #26 - February Overview! (Patreon)

Happy Friday, and Happy end-of-January, everyone!

First, I want to thank you all for your support this past month, but also for your patience as I struggled through being ill not once, but twice. It seems I have chronic tonsillitis (smoking probably doesn't help..), and unfortunately, it's likely to return again in the near future - as those diagnosed with it may have recurring tonsillitis up to 7 times a year, and I've had it twice in a month!

Thankfully, this last episode was not as bad, and I've taking precautionary measures to treat it - lots of natural stuff to fight off bacteria/viral infections, as well as cutting out my smoking habits. Let's hope we're done with all that!

So let's talk about February!

After many delays this month, many things got pushed back into next month, and I've taken a peek at the schedule and.. yikes. It's a LOT. I think we'll have to safely conclude that we won't necessarily be finishing Gen 2 this month - but I kind of knew that for awhile now. To compensate for it, I've been releasing some Gen 4+ Moemon, as well as Dark variations, and lots of reworks, in hopes that things stay relatively fresh - and I have more "extra" things planned for the future.

Suffice to say, I'm unsure if we will technically EVER finish Gen 2 - since I haven't yet made a decision to make the, umm, "baby" Pokemon or not. On one level, it seems pretty fucked up. That said, I could make them all 18+, but.. LOOK AT THEM.

Yeah I could age them up more or something. I really wanna make Elekid. I mean, EleTeen. Ele-Eighteen, to be precise. I'll make a decision on that later.

Anyways, that's February in a nutshell, or rather, what NOT to expect, to some degree. That said, what IS coming?

What's Next?

I'm aware the new pay-period is here tomorrow, and for those who do consider sticking through another month - thank you very much!

As far as what to expect this week, well, it's difficult to say. I have SEVERAL things lined up, but every single one of them is something I don't want to spoil. I do like keeping you guys surprised, after all!

To give you a minor idea of what to look forward to - generally speaking I have 1 or 2 major releases per week, with 2-3 "filler" in between - for example, I may work on a Gym Leader set, which includes her iconic Moemon, and I may have a Mega thrown in that week as well, and in between will be small families - Stantler, Teddiursa/Ursaring, Dunsparce, for example.

That's a typical week.

This coming week will not be typical, as we'll have 5 major release sets - assuming all goes according to plan! Agh, I wanna give you a hint, but I don't wanna spoil..!
