Spinarak and Ariados are here!

I spent way more time on these two than I'll care to admit.

First up is Spinarak, who features overlays for literally every piece of her clothing, save for her underwear. Her shirt, skirt, gloves, leggings, and even her hair all have overlays - I was incredibly determined to get this right!

I won't bother linking every piece of overlay in this post, but you can see them for yourselves in the creator, if you are curious. Ironically, her hair was the easiest to make, see here:

Hopefully that doesn't burn your eyes.

This is a scaled down version of her hair's colormask, specifically the ponytail section. It was incredibly simple, extracting it from the MaterialEditor, editing it like so, and importing it back in. The "red" part is the primary color, while the purple should be the third color (or the "hair tip" color).

Doing this with your own cards is easy enough, just use a simple program like Gimp or Photoshop and have fun. I'll be utilizing this more in the future, but only when necessary.

Next up is Ariados!

Ariados was just as time consuming. Although she doesn't have overlays for every piece, I did use some for her gloves and leggings, as well as a custom "white" colored fuzzy neckpiece (Magilou's Scarf, from Tales of Berseria, to be exact). The color of the scarf cannot be changed on it's own (annoyingly), but that doesn't stop me from editing it myself.

Second, you may not notice, but there is ONE thing I changed between her and her sprite. Look again:

If you notice, Ariados has lengthy hair protruding from her left and right, and that hair is wrapped with yellow/purple bindings. While I added the hair, I did not include the bindings. I could have, easily, actually, but I opted not to for sake of consistency. To be clear, let's look at the official sprite:

It actually only has 4 legs, with two spine-like "hind legs" on it's back, for a total of 6 -- I'm not even going to argue the fact that arachnids, you know, have eight legs (wait is this even true? Google doesn't give a clear answer..), but aside from that, the Moemon sprite itself seems to depict 8 legs. Two legs, two arms, two "spine legs", and two "hair legs" (god that sounds creepy describing her like that).

So let's be accurate with the actual Pokemon sprite!

(Okay I was just too lazy to add them to the Koikatsu model)

Hey, wait! Don't go yet!

I wanted to put a little update at the end of this post to let you all know that plans have slightly changed regarding releases this week. Unfortunately, I'm going to delay Sunkern/Sunflora for a bit later, but that doesn't mean I'm cutting anything -- I just had a better idea of what to release. So, in lieu of Sunkern/Sunflora, there will  be a few additional releases between now and Wednesday!
