[Look, they're Leaf and Herb Pokemon, you come up with a better title]

 The Gen 2 Grass Starter family, Chikorita, Bayleef, and Meganium are finally here!

So let's talk about each one individually, as usual.

First, there's Chikorita. I don't know how the magic came together, but Chikorita came out incredibly adorable. Just look at her!

She's like an adorable little ball of leafy green veggies that you just wanna eat up.

Anyways, she's a little bit distinct from her sprite, in a few ways: First, iconic to the original Chikorita are two things: her little leaf head and little green bumps around the neck, see here:

While the sprite conveys the leaf quite well, it doesn't look good translated to 3D with the only leaf accessory available, so I gave her a ponytail, with the leaf acting as part of the hair tie, so that it sticks out appropriately. Her neck bump things are seen in the sprite as a part of her outfit, though that isn't exactly easy to translate. Accessories could be added, but it would be multiple individual "bumps" that would have to be taken off one-by-one if the dress is removed, else they would just.. be there. So she has a neck collar, instead. A spikey one. Kinda gives her a rebellious look, I suppose.

Next up is Bayleef!

I didn't really like Bayleef's sprite, as the outfit makes her seem too plump. Which, although she technically is in the original Pokemon sprite, just didn't stand out enough. Her new outfit isn't the center piece anyways. The leaf pin remains in her hair, but is larger (and actually MORE fitting, since Bayleef's leaf has a notch in it, as does the accessory).

The key part is the leaf necklace, which is seen in the original as well. There's 7 leaves, to be exact - and while I'm not sure they really look like leaves in the original, since they kinda look like rolled up green joints, but I think it's safe to say they technically are.

Finally, Meganium!

Meganium's prime feature is her flower. It's not seen in the sprites above, as those sprites are outdated. Here's the new sprite below.

This is still a work-in-progress from the artists on the Discord. There's actually another version where she's holding a lamp thing, I've taken that one and made a Shiny version of it below:

While the sprite has the flower BEHIND her head, I made that in KK and it didn't look the best. So I moved it to her neck, which is technically more appropriate, as seen here:

Now, I COULD technically stretch her neck out thanks to the scaling mods, but uhh.. let's  not even entertain that idea.

The flower does clip a lot (especially in the back), but it looks great from the front. Alongside that are her iconic antennas, which I guess makes her a giant bug? Hmm.
