Thanks very much, did not know much about the P-63. Always need to remember that a specific aircraft need not "fail" as an aircraft but for practical reasons was not further developed. Perhaps a future topic for discussion the VVS's use or rejection of American designs like the P-63 on the Eastern Front.

The fuselage has a similarity to a UH-1! Overall, it was a smaller aircraft I suppose. Front line tank killer. Agree with Chris's assessment.
