She's finally finished!! Lapis was such an emotional roller coaster for me. As funny as it sounds, as this particular stone is known for mental clarity, I really found like I discovered a lot about myself through this particular illustration. I've learned more balance in my work and life, and found my own mental calm in discovering new ways to paint.

What a blessing this piece was. Thanks for allowing me to bring her to life!
