I can’t help but feel that as I worked on this page, a lot of my frustrations about the real world (at the original time of production and posting) started seeping through. And a confessional (if you can read between the lines)?   Oh well.

Kuroki’s “cincher” will be on the next page and hopefully, no more talking heads (which is rather difficult to try and come up with interesting compositions to counteract). 

Anyway, thank you so very much to everyone who continues to support this comic; couldn’t do this without you.  Sorry for the wait.

TL Notes: 

• “Helph Company”: A portmanteau of health and this fictional company. It’s this world’s equivalent of a certain humanitarian organisation. 
• “Genesectical”: A deliberate mispronunciation since it’s a reference to this creature and what was a hotly-contested thing a few years ago (and probably still is). I don’t have an opinion on it myself, just riffing on the old “science yields gigantism” trope.
• “What the Worf?”: Referring to this rather cute moment. 
• “When Shiftry…”: Not just a euphemism, but a monster too!
• "Keep Calm and Kuroki On": Reference to what was originally a wartime propaganda message to keep morale up, but later became a thing all on its own.
• “We all evolve, right?”: Ironically, neither the salamander or the lemur monkey -- https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Passimian_(Pok%C3%A9mon) --- evolve (correct at the time of posting this).
