A Patreon exclusive update video containing a heady mixture of things you don’t need to know, things you don’t want to know and added ephemera.

Here it is. https://youtu.be/tB9ifywSTz0

I feel this one needs the visuals intact for quite a few sections, so I haven’t posted an audio only version this time.

P.S. Here’s a link to that final Miikshi episode https://youtu.be/RlqydFW-rvs

In regards to selling stuff, I think you’re underestimating the power of the “Techmoan Effect.” Having a copy of a machine featured on your channel is one thing, having the EXACT ITEM that was featured in the video, with intimate knowledge of what does ans doesn’t work, well that’s even better, right? Some of these items were collectible before your vids, after I’m sure it’s gone up as stocks have gone down. I lived through the 80’s, have always been interested in stereo and video (I’m a radio and mobile DJ who preserves peoples videotapes and photos digitally on the side) and I’ve never even heard of a lot of the stuff on your channel, much less seen one. Keep up the great work, I’ll be letting my patreon subscription renew for 2024.

You know you could make a small channel monetizing ramen reviews. Maybe it would send you about 10 bucks a week but just enough to reimburse you for the noodles

Ha ha, you're a young man (younger than me anyway) and you're already worrying about what'll happen to your stuff when you're gone. I've been there for years. As someone who does sell on eBay, I'm sad to say that despite the fees and a propensity to always side with scammers (if they're buyers), eBay is an effective way to shift non mainstream items (mainstream would be TVs, X-Boxes, bicycles etc. for which Gumtree or FB Marketplace are beter). I have a mega clear-out every 2 or 3 years and have sold 100s of items on eBay. There's a lot of psychology in creating eBay ads and good quality photos are paramount. My plan, before the grim reaper calls, is to gradually acqure all the items I've always wanted and sell off everything else. I try t limit myself to small items that fit in those 4L or 9L "Really Useful Boxes". . have you photographed & catalogued everything yet?
