I’ve had my head buried in putting this video together for the past few days. It’s only now once I’ve reached the end that I can see I’m probably the only person here remotely interested in this topic.
Well never mind, it’s done now, no going back. Here’s the video. Enjoy the remainder of your Chrimbertween and thanks again for all your Christmas wishes over the last few days.

UPDATE - Amazon Japan Link https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/dp/B08D9H9GB6

If you’re ever planning on ordering from Amazon Japan you’ll need to set  up a new account there as any non-Japanese ones won’t work. The language can be changed to English at the top of the page.

Densha de Go! - The most powerful Plug & Play Game (Japan Import Review)

Thanks to a reissue of a Japanese 2018 Plug & Play games console I'm finally playing the PS2 Train Simulator, 'Densha de Go! Final'...fourteen years after it first came out. This machine raises a question. Seeing as it can handle a Playstation 2 quality game - could these same innards be used to power a 'PS2 Classic'. Here's the listing on Amazon Japan https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/dp/B08D9H9GB6 FULL TEARDOWN HERE: https://mazu-bunkai.com/bunkai-wp/engineering/7181/ (Thanks for the link Robert) --------------- SUBSCRIBE ------------------ http://www.youtube.com/user/Techmoan?sub_confirmation=1 ------------- Merchandise ----------------- https://teespring.com/stores/techmoan-merch ------------- SUPPORT --------------- This channel can be supported through Patreon https://www.patreon.com/techmoan *******Patrons usually have early access to videos******* ---------- Outro Music ----------- Over Time - Vibe Tracks https://youtu.be/VSSswVZSgJw ------ Outro Sound Effect ------ ThatSFXGuy - https://youtu.be/5M3-ZV5-QDM FAQ Q) Why are there comments from a week ago when this video has just gone live today? A) Patrons usually have early access to videos. I'll show the first version of a video on Patreon and often the feedback I get results in a video going through further revisions to improve it. e.g. Fix audio issues, clarify points, add extra footage or cut extraneous things out. The video that goes live on youtube is the final version.

Nice Matt, yet again you make what sounds like a boring subject genuinely entertaining. If you find a way to hook your train simulator up to the internet and practice diligently, you'll eventually get a job offer from JNR ;-)

I am so glad that you reviewed this item. They recently release a Nintendo Switch version of the game: https://www.play-asia.com/go-by-train-hashiro-yamanote-line/13/70e1pp and I purchased it. It took a long time to get here but I received my copy today! I just got done playing it and it is as awesome as I hoped it would be.

I bought that as well after the video. Unfortunately I haven’t had much time to play it, but it’s certainly a big step up. The speed limits work a bit differently - seems very strict.
