I so glad Rarity was finally able to achieve her goals for opening a boutique in Canterlot, plus I really loved what the moral was for this episode. That even though she achieved her dreams, when you focus all your time into one thing then is not going to be special any more or more or less can lose the time love and care that was originally put into it because you are doing so much, plus the thing that yeah if you focus on one in particular thing the rest of the it is going to suffer just a little bit.

Dropping new uploads late on a Friday night? You must not want me to sleep.... lol. The season of feels continues, this time it's Rarity having her generosity taken advantage of by Sassy. It's important to be kind, but it's also important to have boundaries and to stand up for them. Also, the pony with the two peppers is "Posh Pony" in the credits, but the fandom calls her Cayenne (for obvious reasons).

I'm unsure what you mean by "...the episode that just came up..."?

Not much to say about this one. I can point out that the weird pony at the end was from a random photo on a locker at the Cloudsdale weather factory during Tanks for the Memories. My only guess is that fans saw the photo and made a big deal out of it, so the writers threw her in as an actual pony for the hell of it. Again, that's just a guess.

One thing I like about Rarity episodes is that they tend to touch on more complex themes and lessons than a lot of the other characters get. Rarity is a surprisingly deep character; love of fashion could easily make her vain and shallow, but by placing it in the context of her career as an artist and small business owner, it makes her one of my favorites. This episode explores the balance between the two roles, creative freedom vs the demands of business. It's not easy, and Rarity is learning that having the talent and vision is only half the battle.

This is the episode that made me love Rarity. I'm an artist as well and could relate so well to having a creation you take great pride in and love making turn into a chore and tedious.
