I don’t know if this is just me, but I usually watch your reactions through the Patreon app, but lately the sound only works if I watch through the my browser instead. Any way to fix this?

I also taught they left part of the alien inside. To me it reminded me of snakes. Those also regenerate part of their bodies like worms. Also like you taught this is kinda the same and they left part of it in. Turns out it didn't matter really. As he said that was just the left over husk. Like when snakes change their skin. It usually remains looking like a dead snake. In fact the snake itself is not where it's skin is anymore. The doctor said it was connected directly to the brain. The mind of the 'snake' moved inside the brain. Just leaving it's skin behind to fool others. Exactly how real snakes sometimes do! On another note. Teal'c also said the gloauld inside him gave him perfect health and long life. Precisely why he wasn't killed this easily! Last note. They yet have not devised good security measures towards something they don't know much about. Most safety measures for anything, come from mishaps from the past. They don't have those here yet. You yourself may know them, but you have seen tons of SciFi stuff. They back in 1997 have not, yet! They have not even suspected half of these stuff and are initially going the way normal military would. They just need more experience with alien things. Which they just got some of in this episode.

They were studying Teal'c's Goa'uld before attempting the surgery on Kawalsky. To increase the chances of success. That's why he was in the room before hand. The Goa'uld became one with Kawalsky thus moving out of the husk and into his brain and taking full control of him. They didn't knowingly leave anything in him. This is to set up how conniving and insidious they are both physically and mentally plus cementing how difficult they are to remove once they have fully taken a person over. The fact this Goa'uld is young gave them this chance comparatively to when Sha're and Skaara were taken over.
