I'd forgotten this episode, but it was the source of a few big things that stuck in the fandom's collective mind. Pinkie Promises (enforced by her) add another level to her weird powers, and Photo Finish's strange mannerisms made her a instant favorite. Background Pony of the Week: The Spa Twins, Aloe and Lotus. These two sisters are the main workers in the Ponyville spa scenes. While they failed to develop as significant a role in the fan mythos as many of Ponyville's other residents, they have more direct roles in the show, getting a nontrivial number of actual speaking lines. Unfortunately, most of Photo Finish's assistants, despite their interesting appearances, never really took off.

Another episode that made me appreciate Rarity a bit more. She was acting rather selfish the whole episode, but when push comes to shove, she couldn't allow her friend to be mocked, and risked her own reputation in the process. Generosity indeed. I love Photo Finish. Heavily based on Anna Wintour, the Editor-in-Chief of Vogue. Love that you immediately recognized Hoity Toity's voice. We also had Lyra, Bon Bon, and Derpy in the audience of the fashion show. It was Bon Bon who said "And you are...?" to Rarity in her shop.

futtershy is also a little vain, throughout the episode she would quietly chant "I must, I must, I must increase my bust" the last bit under her breath.

Okay, moving to here. Awesome reactions! Yes, This was another one that really made rarity gain popularity. On the dogs not doing things smartly.. that's kind of the point, they aren't really 'evil' just lazy idiots.

Ah dangit, put the above on the wrong video. This one, look up a song called "Picture Perfect Pony" it's pretty much a Photo Finish theme song. And, as usual.... do not question The Pink One! For she is watching you, FOREVER! And still hilarious it's the size difference that hangs you up on Sparity, not the age difference. And Photo Finish's accent is generic Eastern European.
