So here he is, the MC in all his glory. Well maybe not glory, but this is what he looks like all the same. Original plan was to show a bunch of stuff for him on the 27th (as it turns out, that's Hyena Day) but that's like a week out and there really isn't any point holding back given we're in the process of seeing all the new title screens as they happen.

So! Main Character is hereby a hyena, as voted for by Patrons and alike. Striped rather than spotted, not that you can really tell the patterning with how much he's currently wearing but maybe you'll get a shot of him soon without a shirt, or something depending on how productive I get.

It's for sure the option I was hoping for when the poll went up for that reason. The other options were more stereotypical species but hyena won out by a large margin.

He is indeed a good looking boy and I wonder how his species will play into his character, tis a curious thing indeed! Will he have nervous laughs and chuckles? or perhaps theirs some other aspects of a Hyena you could bring into play...Oho, the possibilities!

To put it simply, a mix of both. As of what's in the latest build, I think the only one who's been outed as to what they have is Sal, thanks to Dean. Another Patron raised this concern via Discord as to being put off by... Let's say 100% accurate to real life depictions of what they'd be packing downstairs. So artistic liberties have been taken. I feel like saying who has what ruins part of the surprise of what you get if you're romancing them, so I'll leave it at that for now.

Here's something. You should raise awareness of the game. In order to do that, you should probably make a thread on u18chans discussion forum about it but also make a thread in the gay furry thread too. Inform people of what the game is about and like. Next you could attempt to make a furaffinity and inkbunny account to help spread of. This will give the VN a higher reach and increase the patrons and other supporters. Do what Tennis Ace did. I'm sure you can do it.

I am teeeeerrible with self-marketing. I do have a fA already, but that's more a general dumping ground for my other art (granted Password has been taking up more of my time lately). Had a couple friends also throw out the shoutouts to the project a while back. I'm half hoping, half dreading that the moment sex gets involved, or literally any piece of nude art for the game comes out we'll see a spike in people interested maybe. I dunno, I think once the game has a little more polish I'll update the public demo and do another drive for advertisement. Maybe throw some stuff on e621 too. Dunno.

TIL there is a Hyena Day. Ever since that poll about the MC species I can't help but think to myself whenever I see a hyena character anywhere: 'Can't believe I helped convince someone to make of one these.' But I like the way he turned out. I'm just a bit jealous that Hoss gets a knife and we only a flashlight.

Well, Roswell currently has a vat of who knows what; and we've yet to see what the others are carrying! If we go ahead with Hoss getting a weeb version, I'm guessing it's only fair everyone gets two title screens; so there's a chance our hyena pal will get something a little more useful than a flashlight.
