Project Relaunch (Patreon)
Content
After basically rebuilding the game from the ground up, I'm pleased to announce that we're back in business with a much needed fresh coat of paint! Download links can be found on the front page, as I'm still determined to have it be the equivalent of a public demo until we get a bit more in there to warrant charging for content.
With that said, it's likely that the next paid update will be occurring within the new year unless some serious headway is made during December, but at this stage there's an unknown amount of time I'll just have no internet connection to really make any uploads as far as builds go.
For those seeing this for the first time, and those familiar with past builds, let's run-over some stuff real quick:
-All the characters now have, what amounts to their final art. There's still some tweaks to be made, costumes to be added, and some expressions for later on depending on if we meet the monthly goals and alike, but otherwise how you see them is how they be.
-Backgrounds are all images off Google and I've done my best to use royalty-free stuff just for the sake of placeholders for now. The plan is to go through them eventually and swap them out for illustrations, but that's a consideration for later, and subject to feedback from you guys if we need more colour, or to stick with the monochromatic look.
-Story themes are dark. This isn't some happy-go-lucky story despite how it comes across in the beginning (Apparently this was jarring for some people), so if you don't like murder, intrigue and other dark stuff along with your smut this might not be the game for you.
Most importantly, the only way this is going to get better is to be savage with the feedback. Tell me what's working, what's not, and I'll see what I can do to fix it. Plot-stuff is paced out already, so if something's not making sense, wait until the reveal to pass judgement. As far as spelling errors and alike, spam them at me so I can fix them with as much information as to where to fix (if you can be bothered) until I set up a formal document for it.
