Librarium Animated - Goddess Aphrodite (Patreon)

Today we see the release for Goddess Aphrodite, as suggested by Darkstarmatryx!

Her beauty unparalleled she easily gains worshipers.  Her fighting methods may seem a tad unorthodox though.  1. Blows kiss at the enemy.  2. raises both arms out as if to be praised to call down the godly power.  3.  Well walks up and Slaps you.  4. beckons with a wave of her hand which is used to draw obsessed followers.  So only one attack is actually a close combat attack and the other 3 can be used for magic effects I believe it fits her well and can make her out to be rather challenging and interesting in appearance. 

Aphrodite was a challenging design which went through a number of revisions before I settled on her current look!

At first we had the red dress version, which while somewhat cool, I didnt feel it screamed Aphrodite at first glance! After that realization, it evolved to the one to the lower left, but after further evaluation of it I felt the accesories and other features were still off for the Goddess of Love Aphrodite. A few tweaks later and we arrived at the one to the lower right, which I felt expressed the concept Darkstarmatryx suggested the best, out of all three!

Animation also proved to be a challenge, but in the end Aphrodite rolls out with 4 Attack motions, covering most of what was suggested as well! Please look forward to Aphrodite's bust portrait and 4-direction map sprite as part our rewards for the Second November Update Cycle!
