Morphing and physics
Upward morphing is now more based on rotating and moving the whole breast. The breast top curve doesn't bulge as much now and is rounder in shape, and breasts don't flatten as much (if at all) when moved up. Collision and animation should look more natural now compared to the previous alphas.
As a side effect, breast shape when upside down is also different from before, it's a bit pointier/perkier due to the reduced top curve.
Since breast shape when lying flat on the back is a combination of upward and backward morphing, backward morphing has also been tweaked. (Backward morphing is the flattening and spreading out effect when breasts are pushed in or when the person is leaning back.) Breast shape when leaning forward is also a combination of upward and forward morphing, but I didn't feel like that needed tweaking.
The effect of breast gravity on breast target angles is reduced just slightly.
Fat back force is reduced slightly (except for very small/very large breasts).
Fixes
- fixed issue during plugin initialization when checking that the character and skin are ready
- prevent double calibration when loading the plugin to a person atom with soft physics disabled
- fix morphing when soft physics is off (broke due to the soft joint position based morphing introduced in 5.2 alpha 1, now it uses the old nipple position based method if soft physics is off)
- prevent calibration while person atom physics is frozen
Up next
I started working on improving depth morphing as well, it's not going to be a dramatic change, more an incremental improvement. In short I want depth morphing to also be based on the average soft joints position so that it's more dynamic and accurate. In the current implementation, changes in breast shape due to soft physics do not feed back into backward/forward morphing.
That and some possible small tweaks here and there will likely wrap up 5.2. Version 5.1 early access ends on the 17th and as usual there's going to be a small window for the plugin in the Hub's free section, so I'm looking at the last week of October for the 5.2 EA release - meanwhile enjoy the exclusive alpha :)
