Generative.fm Update and Work Priority Poll (Patreon)

Hey everyone, quick update and a question for you.

I'm close to releasing the new Generative.fm recording web app. The most notable new feature is that you can specify a fade in and fade out for the recordings. I just need to spend some time making sure everything works well on mobile plus a few other things. Once it's ready you'll be the first to know about it.

So looking a bit into the future, I'd like to know your preference for how I spend my time. Note that I'll probably end up doing some combination of these things regardless, but I'll definitely prioritize the things you want me to.

Option 1: More recording app work

For the most part, the version of the recording app I'll release soon has all the features of the current recording feature on the site and more. But it doesn't quite have all the features I'd like, such as:
- A desktop version with support for higher-quality recordings
- A mobile app
- Filtering by flavor
- Sorting by play/record time
- User accounts
I could spend more time working on those things, many of which would help me figure out how I'll handle similar situations in the new playback app. Speaking of...

Option 2: Start new listening app

Other than some early design work, I haven't worked much on the listening app while I focused on the recording app. I'm excited to completely redesign and rebuild Generative.fm to include some new features you've been asking for like user accounts.

Option 3: New music

I haven't made new music in a while since I've been working on the recording app. I'm enjoying getting to focus on the apps, but if you'd like to hear some new music I can make time for it.
