Hey everyone, I just published the new interface for Generative.fm. Let me know if you have any issues with it. I had intended to include a new  piece this week too but the one I was working on ended up having too many performance issues and I had to scrap it.

Excited by your progress - will say that things look a little 'harsh' right now with the play between 'light' and 'dark' interface elements. way to go though. great all day work tunes.

Thanks Jay, do you mean the white elements like text and buttons or the white images that most of the pieces have? Or perhaps both? I agree that the white images no longer look as good, but I didn't want to change them since people might associate them with the music already. Eventually the dark ones will outnumber the white ones, or who knows, maybe there will be a mixture of all sorts of images. If you think the other white elements like buttons and text contrast too much with the background I could easily change them to a darker shade of grey. I really appreciate the feedback.

I mean both - I hear you on the association.. I'm probably nit-picking and most of the time the tab is hidden.. but. I'd experiment with bumping the opacity down (.85?) a little bit on the image elem, and then playing with the bgcolor:white; bg - Perhaps you can keep our visual associations intact and decrease the vibration/contrast between white and black interface elements.... or, perhaps, #1a1a1a on .app is too dark? I dunno. Maybe i'll take a pass and send your way, and you can take it or leave it :)

I just played with bringing the opacity down and it does look better without looking too different from before. That's a pretty solid solution!
