Sun Cachobe Gryphettes, or "sunnies," as they are more commonly known, are a species of gryphon notable for their brilliant melodies, lovely coloration, and propensity towards mischief. They are natural pranksters who enjoy games of hide and seek or tag. Despite this, sunnies are widely regarded as making great pets, providing one can withstand their prolific shenanigans. They are gregarious, intelligent, affectionate, quick learners, and they can be house-trained with litter boxes. Their diets consist mainly of fruits, nuts, and seeds but they can generally eat most things any person can. It should be noted, for anyone considering sunnies as pets, that they require mates and a mated pair can live up to 35y (indoors). For households who do not wish to breed chicks, certain other species of gryphette can be substituted. The rainbow finch, furry mango, and crystwing gryphettes are the most popular substitutes as they will not produce viable offspring with sunnies.
