Hey all!

We're here with our first batch of Undercavern content, a brilliant original Vampire Hunter map, and assets from last month's Phandelver & Below: The Shattered Obelisk theme. Let's get started!

The MAD Cartographer | Undercavern

Fane of Night

An open-air (does that count in the undercaverns?) place of worship, risen from the ruins of a long-forgotten and collapsed temple. Half-buried, fallen pillars from some pre-existing structure now serving as pews, graffiti and time having worn the original carvings of worship from the pillars. The altar remains, but has now smoothed and worn over the years. Natural outcrops of glowing geodes tower like lanterns illuminating the area.

Fishfolk Village

On the shores of a great underground lake, a small village of fish-folk have taken up residence. Ramshackle huts and hovels have been erected from the wreckage of ships and boats lost across the lake. Tucked away in the corner, a small altar to a strange and violent deity can be found.

Mindflayer Lair

An otherworldly lair of a terrible eldritch threat. Pools of unknown liquid squirm with alien technology, and strange runes and sigils on the floor wreak havoc with the minds of intruders.

Mordenkainen's Lair

Today we're bringing you an original Vampire Hunter map, with a concept used by quite a few Curse of Strahd DM's! Those who manage to cure the Mad Mage of Mount Baratok of his sickness will find that he is in fact no other than the legendary Mordenkainen, who came to Barovia on his own business. But where would such a powerful wizard make his lair in Strahd's domain?

Beneath the thundering waterfall of the Tser Falls, the archmage used his knowledge of vampires to create a lair behind a curtain of running water. From here, he filled the cave with all of the home comforts he was able to conjure. Characters who manage to cure and befriend Mordenkainen may find a powerful ally and a relative safe haven.
