TMC - Wilderwoods 03 | VH - Amber Temple | Next Theme! (Patreon)

Hey all!

It's time for our final push of Wilderwoods content for this month, as well as Vampire Hunters, a JamesRPGArt collab, and the next theme!

Let's get started!

The MAD Cartographer | Wilderwoods

Druid Grove

A secluded grove, tucked away deep in the forest. This provides a place of tranquility and reflection for druids; or perhaps a place where they keep their most dangerous idols of power!

Foundry users are able to enter the buildings, and pass beneath the tree and string light canopies.

A Day/Night variant is included.

Hag's Tea House

A ramshackle wooden cottage lingering where the forest meets the swamp, this fetid teahouse is unsurprisingly almost certainly inhabitated by a hag or witch. Her neglected pumpkin crops rot away outside, whilst the interior is filled with the trappings of a tea house, littered with other arcane oddities.

Foundry users are able to enter the building, and climb into the roof. A Day/Night variant is included.

For the Hag's Tea House, we collaborated with JamesRPGArt, who created the Swamp Hag's Hut to accompany the map!

We've included this scene and its variants within the Foundry module. Members of our All the Things tier can find the Still and Animated (.GIF and .MP4 versions) in the Collaborations folder on pCloud!

The gallery has been updated with this content, as well as pCloud, which you can access through your Theme Master List and the Foundry VTT module is updated and ready to be downloaded.

As this is the last update of the month, assets have also been added to the Asset Library, and the 300ppi map images have been added to the Patreon store. Both of these can be accessed for free by Patrons subscribed at the All the Things tier!

Vampire Hunters | The Amber Temple

After a lot of work, we're thrilled to be releasing our massive Amber Temple map to you, fortified by fantastic supplement work from our friend LunchBreakHeroes!

This collosal temple map spans two floors, and is one of the largest and most detailed maps we've done to date. Other than Castle Ravenloft, this is the most infamous and iconic location within the adventure and we're extremely excited to share it with you!

The Amber Temple is one of the largest maps we've done for Vampire Hunters, and even those not interested in running the Curse of Strahd adventure will find this map has huge potential for a dungeon crawl.

We've also leveraged some of the new v12 features for the Foundry module, with weather automatically restricting to outside, and the player darkness levels working dynamically inside the dungeon itself. Bring torches!

Next Theme | Pick'n'Mix 8!

We're excited to share that our next theme will be Pick'n'Mix 8!

We try to visit Pick'n'Mix every 6 months or so, allowing our team to create maps that don't fit into any consistent themes. It's a chance for them to just create something weird and wonderful they're interested in, and has resulted in some of our wildest and most unusual maps to date!

The team have already completed these maps and are hard at work on the following theme. Over the course of August we'll be releasing Pick'n'Mix 8 and you can look forward to such maps as Golden Tree Capital, Deus Ex Machina, Volcano Cavern, and more!
