awesome video, i have a book you might be interested in. its called Sierra Madre West, written by Mike and Steve Holmes. it goes into detail about the mines between Willard peak and Ben Lomond peak. It might be interesting to grab some of the tailings from the mines and see what recoverable materials are there. get a hold of me if you would like it. i can't justify spending money on shipping it to you when i live close enough i've seen you driving around a couple times.
