The stabilization probably needs another pass along with a few more editing tweeks. I also had to recreate some of the photos that I couldn’t get due to weather. I just used MS paint, you can probably tell. 😅

Amazing! Hence the cryptic tweet!

Thanks for sharing Cody, looks great! I especially enjoyed the MS Paint scene at the end : )

Yeah, it’s 93 frames. Just over 3 seconds at 30fps. I decided to slow it down by a factor of 6.

Very cool! It’s weird how an animation like this helps your mind visualize the solar system so much better than just taking a look in a single night... I like how it’s fixed/stabilized on 🪐 nice work

I think its impressive you used ms paint. Paint.net is free and has a lot of features that would have made this easier.

Am I the only one who's sort-of expecting some big explosion to be photo-shopped in? Awesome pics Cody.

Cool, but what are u filming it looks like a meteor?

Anonymous

Very Cool! So that's what was going on.

Honestly I prefer ms paint as well since it's often much easier (simpler) than Paint.net. I also felt like Paint.net was buggy for me but they might have fixed the problems in the last years.

I was hoping i could do it, but weather was terrible, and it was already over horizon when i'm done with job :(

This is the coolest depiction of the conjunction I’ve seen. Were you just using an iPhone? I’m actually really impressed you could see Jupiter’s moons
